It is often believed by various scholars all around the world that dictatorship hinders innovation because it hinders freedom of expression and thinking. Thus it is believed that there could be no development of innovative ideas.

Lets suppose for a moment this all sounds logical and the statement might even bear some truth. Have you ever realized there exists no boundary for dictators to employ innovative ideas of the free citizens of the world?

We have to admit globalization has brought a lot benefits to our lives. On the other hand it has also enabled dictators to acquire foreign knowledge through its state enterprises active abroad, via foreign acquisitions or research collaboration with the top world universities.

The only thing preventing INNOVATIVE DICTATORSHIPS could be the dictators themselves. But if they manage to develop a decent government and effective administration, there is nothing in their way of success.
